For over two decades, South by Soup Fest has been a labor of love—rooted in music and a deep belief in taking care of one another. What began as a small gathering has grown into a cherished annual tradition, and we’re so grateful to once again come together at Güero’s Taco Bar for our 22nd year. Thank you to Güero’s for opening your doors and your hearts to this event year after year. This day is about more than music and tacos. It’s about musicians who show up generously, donating their time and talent. It’s about neighbors gathering in community. And it’s about supporting the Community Kitchen & Food Services Programs at Caritas of Austin, which provide nourishment and dignity to so many in our city. All band tips and raffle proceeds—featuring gift cards from wonderful local businesses—go directly to that work. If you can’t join us in person, please know that your support still matters deeply. Online donations help us reach our $6,000 goal, alongside funds raised during the event. Every contribution—no matter the size—adds up to real meals, real care, and real impact.
